Installing a licence

To install a new licence please follow the steps below

1. Open the Licence Profile in the esig.nsf database.



2. Remove the previous licence key, and paste your new licence key into the "Licence String" field. (If you have multiple certifiers, please see Multiple licences for organisations with multiple certifiers)



3. Save and close the Licence Profile Document.

4. From the server console issue the following commands.
a.

load esig

(if task is not already running)
b.

tell esig validate

c.

tell esig quit

Each licence is processed in order until a valid licence is found.

Licence Validation

Information on your current licence can be found on the lower left hand side of the database. (Note: this value will not be automatically updated, it will only be updated when the esig task validates the licence or on server restarts).

Date Expiry Licences

The licence validation show how many days are remaining.

Permanent Licences

The licence validation now shows the number of users your are licensed for.



If you exceed the number of users this will be displayed in red.
